Pre-pet consultations

 

If you need help choosing a breed, finding a puppy or getting prepared for your new arrival, this consultation will be helpful to you.  Learn how to prevent problems and avoid common mistakes.  Learn about house-training, supplies, food, where your pet should sleep, and how to incorporate fun training before your pet comes home.

 

Phone or email consultations

For those clients who live out of the area, we offer phone/email consultations. A 30-minute consultation is $20, a 60-minute consultation is $35 and payable via paypal. We will discuss a proper plan of treatment and follow-up.

Private Sessions

Private Sessions are an excellent way to help build your dog’s confidence and obedience on a personal level. They increase the bond between owner and dog. Each training session is specifically catered to you and your dog's needs.

Your dog will learn the following commands: sit, sit/stay, down, down/stay loose-leash walking, heel, leave-it and more.

We offer problem solving techniques for the following problems: house manners, puppy nipping, chewing, digging, jumping, excessive barking, begging, and more.

 

Payment is required at the beginning of each session. Contact Us for rates and more information.

 

Group Sessions

Group Sessions are 6 weeks long and include a FREE private session prior to the start of the training to evaluate your dog and to introduce myself to them. We’ll be going over the follow commands: sit, sit/stay, down, down/stay, loose-leash walking, heel, off, leave-it, come.

There will also be a brief time for common problems and solutions.

Items you will need for class are as follows:

  • A hungry dog wearing a plain collar or harness and a 6 foot leash (Please no prong collar, choke chains or retractable leashes.).

  • Current Vaccination records (1st visit).

  • A hungry dog and food treats cut into pea size pieces.

  • You may bring a clicker if you wish to use one or would like to learn how.

  • During the final weeks of class a long line may be needed to teach recall. I will give you more info about this in class.

Coming Soon: Problem Solving Clinics

These clinics will be held once or twice a month in a general location and are free to attend. You can learn common solution to general puppy and dog problems. A question and answer time will also be included. These clinics are available for all 2 legged family members.

 

Coming Soon: Puppy Parties

These are get-togethers for puppies and their owners. They provide a valuable opportunity for puppies to socialize with other animals and people in a safe environment. At the Puppy party your puppy will learn how to mix with other dogs, strangers and generally have a fun filled time. The only requirement is to bring proof of your dog's shots.
